Transparent terms
Compensation, hours, duration, location, IP and confidentiality are disclosed in writing before you accept. No surprises after you start.
Trust & Safety
Every opportunity on Skill2Create is governed by the same protections. Hosts agree to them before listing. Participants can rely on them — and report when they are not met.
Participant protections
Compensation, hours, duration, location, IP and confidentiality are disclosed in writing before you accept. No surprises after you start.
Listings state the compensation model — stipend, salary, project fee, equity or unpaid learning fellowship — and it must be appropriate to the work involved.
Working hours match what was disclosed. Work-based learning is not a route to unpaid overtime.
A named supervisor and access to a mentor throughout the placement, with regular documented feedback.
Safe working environments, insurance where required, and zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination or exploitation.
IP and confidentiality terms are explicit. Your right to reference your own contributions in your Passport is protected.
You are entitled to the defined learning outcomes and the assessment the listing promised.
A clear process to raise concerns, and fair termination terms on both sides.
Verified evidence from the placement is recorded in your Capability Passport and remains yours.
Report a concern
If a placement does not meet these standards — or you experience anything unsafe, unfair or dishonest — report it. Reports are handled confidentially by Skill2Create, independently of the host.

We share application details only with the host organisation you apply to, and only what is needed for that application. We do not sell personal data.
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@skill2create.org.
